In 2016 Murdoch University hosted the international Women in Physics lecturer, Dr Catalina Curceanu. The lecture was attended by ~550 high school physics students from around WA. In addition to the lecture, students were able to interact with a wide range of science activities on Bush Court. The afternoon included a panel session in which guest physicists from industry, government and academia gave their thoughts on why you should study physics (hint: it can take you to lots of unexpected, but always interesting, places).
